"Many Worlds, Many Dreams"

                   York Beach, Maine
York Beach is a special place for Seth readers. In August, 1963, when Jane Roberts and her husband Robert Butts were on vacation there, they went to the Driftwood Lounge, in the Union Bluff Hotel, to have a drink and dance. While there, they noticed another couple sitting at a nearby table who reminded them of themselves. The other couple were "fragments" of themselves, as Seth explained later. The hotel burned down and was rebuilt on the same site, and the first floor lounge is where the Driftwood was in 1963. Rob also made a painting (below) of Jane seated on the rocks at York Beach.

The Maine Seth Conference will be held at the Anchorage Inn in York Beach. The Anchorage Inn is an oceanfront resort located right on the long, sandy beach. It has two outdoor and two indoor swimming pools, a fitness center, full restaurant, bar, conference rooms, and many places to gather and talk with other Seth readers. There are other restaurants within walking distance as well. Click here for driving directions to the Anchorage Inn from the Maine Turnpike.

The Anchorage Inn is about a 50-minute drive from the airport in Portland (PWM), an hour from Manchester, NH (MHT), and an hour and 20 minutes from Boston, MA (BOS). Click here for driving directions from Portland, Manchester, and Boston. For information on ground transportation to and from the airports, click on the appropriate link:   Portland Jetport;   Boston Logan Airport;   Manchester Airport (Manchester, NH). If you would like to share a ride from an airport, please indicate that on your registration form.

Walk on the sandy beach, visit Nubble Light, enjoy Maine seafood, take the trolley to see where Jane and Rob stayed on their vacation in 1963, where they danced and met their "personality fragments," and where Rob painted Jane sitting on the rocks.

Add a few days to your conference trip and see the beautiful state of Maine!
